RAMM Contractor Videos
The RAMM Contractor videos concentrate on Auto Claiming and its set up, Estimates, Claims and Dayworks as well as Dispatch Inspections. There is also a set of videos showing how to set up a Patrol for Pocket RAMM. Although you must use RAMM Contractor for the setup, the videos are more correctly grouped with the Pocket RAMM videos here.
The following videos will introduce you to Auto Claiming (sometimes called Auto Estimating). You should view An Introduction to Auto Claiming first. Then Understand Auto Claiming Permissions. An Introduction to Auto Claiming
This will introduce you to Auto Claiming – why you will want to use it, how to set it up, what permissions you will need and what it will look like when it is working.
Auto Claiming Permissions
There are three different sets of user permissions you may need depending on the roles you have in your organisation. Learn each of the three permission sets.
Enable Auto Claiming for a Contract
Auto Claiming is disabled by default in contracts in RAMM Contractor. So you need to enable it. Watch this to see which options are best for you to select.
Add Auto Claiming Rules
Auto Claiming works by having rules which determine which Claim lines will be automatically added for a combination of Fault Category and Priority Code.
Estimates, Claims and Dayworks
Here are three RAMM Contractor Videos showing adding an Estimate line, a Claim line and Dayworks. An Estimate line is an indication of the cost of maintenance work to be done for a particular Dispatch or Job. A Claim line is a record of the maintenance work done on a particular Dispatch or Job. It includes the costs, the Maintenance Costs and other relevant information. Dayworks are typically emergency works such as slip clearance or works done outside the contract on an hourly basis.

Setting Up Assessment and Dispatch Inspections
You can use RAMM Contractor to set up Assessment Templates so that Pocket RAMM operators can perform assessments of assets when they are standing next to them in the field. You can use the same Assessment functions in RAMM Contractor to enable both contractors and network owners to inspect completed dispatches using Pocket RAMM.
