Our Clients

Our Clients

RAMM is deployed through a hosted solution to nearly 300 clients throughout Australia, NZ and Fiji. This includes all 66 NZ Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) and the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). It is also used by engineering consultants providing services to these RCAs, numerous road maintenance contracting companies, well over 100 local authorities in WA, and by Australian RCAs such as the cities around Melbourne (VicRoads), and the cities of Adelaide and Marion in SA.

Our Software

Our Software

The RAMM software suite is the asset and maintenance management tool used on every publicly owned road in New Zealand and on many roads in Australia and the Pacific islands. The software is also used to manage non-road assets such as buildings and open spaces. These assets and jobs can be viewed geospatially. Users rely on our software, which combines a robust asset database with the ability to perform assessments, asset valuations, forward works programming, inspections and much, much more. ONRC Data in RAMM

ONRC Data in RAMM

ONRC Data is not yet available on RAMM Map. It is available only in RAMM. If you can’t find your ONRC Data in RAMM, watch the first two minutes of this video. If you want to choose the carriageways for ONRC Inspections yourself, rather than use the ONRC tool to create random Inspections, watch the rest of the video to see one way to select the appropriate carriageways. Check out ONRC Data in RAMM here (7:36).

The new features from Sprint 10 in 2017

See What We’ve Released in September

Graeme Norman our General Manager and James Lawrence, our Software Development Manager, have combined to demonstrate the new features in RAMM. RAMM Grid columns can now be set to user-defined widths using the mouse pointer. They can also be reordered using drag and drop. Creating complex shapes on RAMM Map for items such as footpaths and berms is now easier using the Convert Line to Polygon option. Check out the new features from Sprint 10 in 2017 (5:34).

An Introduction to Inspections

An Introduction to Inspections

An Inspection in RAMM is a record of an examination of an asset or a dispatch that a Pocket RAMM operator has made. They either Pass or Fail the asset or dispatch. There is no middle ground. Here is a brief overview of Inspections. You will be introduced to creating, assigning, and performing Inspections. Please note that Access Control, which is mentioned in the video, is not available in the first Inspections release. Learn more about Inspections in RAMM here (3:51).

Adding and Assigning Inspections

Adding and Assigning Inspections

You add and assign Inspections on RAMM Map. It is really easy. When you are creating Inspections, they must be associated with an Inspection Set. This defines the Security Zone and the compliance date range for the Inspections. If you want to inspect a random percentage of your assets, this is also made easy for you. Please note that Access Control, which is mentioned in the video, is not available in the first Inspections release. Check out Adding and Assigning Inspections here (6:02).

Performing Inspections in Pocket RAMM

Performing Inspections in Pocket RAMM

Inspections in RAMM can be performed only in Pocket RAMM. The date and time stamp data generated for the Inspection and the Pocket RAMM GPS positioning records can prove that, yes, the Inspector really was standing next to the asset when the Inspection was performed. Inspectors can add jobs to Failed Inspections. Inspections have been optimised for contract patrols so adding jobs is a breeze if they have been set up. Check out Performing Inspections in Pocket RAMM here (5:20).

Controlling Your Submitica Downtime Notification Emails

Submitica users receive a system downtime notification email every time maintenance is to be carried out on Submitica. Maintenance is not carried out very often. Most times it takes place outside normal office hours. If you are not affected when Submitica is taken down for maintenance, you may not want to receive these notification emails. You can now control whether or not to receive them. Check out Controlling Your Submitica Downtime Notification Emails here (0:47).

Make Model Fields in UDTs

Make Model Fields in UDTs

When creating UDTs you will sometimes want the values in one field to be dependent on the values in another field. For instance if you select Holden at a car Make field, you’ll only want Holden models to be available at the car Model field. Similarly, if you were to choose Toyota at the car Make field, you would want only models such as Corolla, Camry and Hilux to be available at the car Model field. See how to create Make Model Fields in UDTs here (3:15).
