User Defined Tables (UDTs) have been improved so that you can manage complex assets such as parks and buildings in RAMM 6.1. You add these complex UDT assets in the new RAMM Detail web page accessed from RAMM GIS.
You use RAMM Detail to view the details of RAMM assets. You can add simple assets such as Berms in RAMM Detail at the moment. It is planned that you will be able to add more complex RAMM Assets in future releases. You can add all UDT assets in RAMM Detail right now and you can perform the linking and grouping for complex UDT assets such as parks and buildings.
Draw Asset Shapes RAMM GIS
You can draw the shapes of UDT assets in RAMM GIS. These then become the shapes which display on the map in RAMM, RAMM Contractor and Pocket RAMM as well.

The following six videos introduce the changes in the UDT functions and demonstrate how to use RAMM Detail and RAMM GIS to take advantage of the changes. Private UDTs have been introduced and there is a video to explain about UDTs and Pocket RAMM.
|This is a short introduction to User Defined Tables (UDTs) in RAMM. You will discover why you might use UDTs as well as introducing the linking and component functions.
An Introduction to User Defined Tables (UDTs) (3:55)
|Before you launch RAMM Manager to create your complex UDTs you need to plan them very carefully. Here is some advice on asset models, asset trees and asset attributes.
