RAMM Software Ltd supplies and maintains the RAMM (Road Assessment and Maintenance Management) suite of software products. Our Background

RAMM Software Ltd was set up in 1991 to develop and supply the software for New Zealand Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) and engineering consultants. Originally there were two employees. As RAMM has broadened in its utility and application, more developers, trainers and support staff have become needed until there are now nearly thirty RAMM employees.

Our Clients

Every RCA in New Zealand uses RAMM. Many contractors and consultants to New Zealand RCAs also use RAMM. In Western Australia, AARB and WALGA have combined with RAMM Software Ltd to deliver RAMM to the Western Australian Shires in the ROMAN II project. Many other Australian RCAs, engineering consultants and contractors also use the software.

Our Development Methodology

RAMM Software Ltd uses the Agile Software development methodology. This process is designed to deliver smaller but more relevant software changes in a shorter time period than the classical waterfall software development methodology. Clients have an important role to play in the process.
